But <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cgsecurity.org\/wiki\/PhotoRec\">his PhotoRec<\/a> is racing through the drive recovering various sorts of files.  I am quite pleased and impressed.<\/p> <p>Unfortunately, the program has no way of identifying the file names!  So the files are all being given new, opaque names.<\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder ; font-variant: small-caps ;\">Addendum<\/span> (2008:12\/17)<span style=\"font-weight: bolder ;\">:<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/oddharmonic.livejournal.com\/436506.html\">A recent entry by <span style=\"font-weight: bolder ;\">oddharmonic<\/span><\/a> reminded me to note here that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cgsecurity.org\/wiki\/PhotoRec\">PhotoRec<\/a> re&auml;ssembled video files like Frankenstein <a href=\"http:\/\/scoop.diamondgalleries.com\/public\/default.asp?t=1&m=1&c=34&s=264&ai=44209&arch=y&ssd=9\/27\/2003%2012:01:00%20PM\">Flub-a-Dub<\/a>s.
