When I first saw that the feed to my &#39;blog was not being fetched, I examined the profile pages for various syndication journals on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\"><abbr title=\"LiveJournal\">LJ<\/abbr><\/a>; quite a few were reporting a parsing error, and <q>next check<\/q> times were passing without those <em>next checks<\/em>.<\/p> <p>So far, there is no report at <a href=\"http:\/\/status.livejournal.org\/\">LiveJournal Status<\/a>, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/support\/\"><abbr title=\"LiveJournal\">LJ<\/abbr> Support<\/a>, or at <a href=\"http:\/\/community.livejournal.com\/lj_maintenance\/\">LiveJournal Maintenance<\/a> indicating an awareness of the problem.<\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder ; font-variant: small-caps ;\">Up-Date:<\/span> Well, the previously unretrieved entries have now been fetched, and now they appear one immediately after another on <code>Friends<\/code> pages.<\/p> <p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder ; font-variant: small-caps ;\">Up-Date<\/span> (2008:10\/29 02:23 <abbr title=\"Pacific Daylight-Savings Time\">PDT<\/abbr>)<span style=\"font-weight: bolder ;\">:<\/span> The fetching is failing again.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"LiveJournal has been failing in its attempts to fetch various feeds, including that for this &#39;blog.
