I have been pondering whether I should allow the profile to abide, because to me it looks uncomfortably like a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\">LiveJournal<\/a> <em>account<\/em>, and I of course chose to delete my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\"><abbr title=\"LiveJournal\">LJ<\/abbr><\/a> account in response to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\"><abbr title=\"LiveJournal\">LJ<\/abbr><\/a> policies.  But I've decided that the distinction is sufficient that, at least for now, I will allow the profile to remain and will use it.<\/p> <p>Most or all of you know about <a href=\"https:\/\/syndicated.livejournal.com\/oeconomist_rss\/profile\">the syndication journal <span style=\"font-weight: bolder ;\">oeconomist_rss<\/span><\/a>; it pulls the <em>non<\/em>-protected entries from this &#39;blog and temporarily makes them available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\"><abbr title=\"LiveJournal\">LJ<\/abbr><\/a> such that they will appear on <code>Friends<\/code> pages. (The only present way to get the <em>protected<\/em> entries is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oeconomist.com\/blogs\/daniel\/wp-login.php\">log into the &#39;blog using an <abbr title=\"identity\">ID<\/abbr> and password got from me.  Anyone who was on my old <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\"><abbr title=\"LiveJournal\">LJ<\/abbr><\/a> <code>Friends<\/code> list can be assured of being given one upon request.) The syndication journal itself is actually not my cre&auml;ture but that of <a href=\"https:\/\/28bytes.livejournal.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder ;\">28bytes<\/span><\/a>.
